What We Do
We work strategically to promote access to treatment education, care and services; advocate for access to affordable, qualitative diagnostic and monitoring tests, drugs and commodities to treat HIV and its attendant problems; ensure non-discriminatory gender-based response to disease prevention, control and treatment; promote sexual and reproductive health and rights of women and girls;.
Our history
The Positive Action for Treatment Access (PATA) is a Nigerian indigenous NGO with head office in Lagos was founded in January, 2004 but officially incorporated in 2005. PATA is a right based nongovernmental organization working in partnership to ensure that every individual with an illness or disease, especially women and girls have access to treatment and to equitable, humane care and empowerment..
